What is the age requirement?

You must be 17-24 years old inclusive within the year.

Can I enter if I am married?

Unfortunately to enter, you must be a single female and not have any children.

What if I am not born in Canada?

You are able to apply if you are born or a permanent resident of Canada.

Do I have to have a modeling or pageantry background?

No you do not. We are looking for the next Ambassador of Canada that is as beautiful in the inside and out.

Do I need to have a specific talent to compete?

No you do not. Talent is an optional competition you can compete in.

Can a delegate compete more than once?

Yes you can compete more than once as long as you have not won the title of Miss World Canada.

Are there any fees?

There is a base application' fee of $1,200 to enter for the 2014 pageant. Majority of contestants last year were able to get their entrance fee covered by sponsorship. You may ask family, friends, as well as businesses to cover your fee. Businesses are perfect to approach as they can write off your entry fee as their advertising budget.

Do I need any special coaches?

There is no need for specific coaches as Miss World Canada. A new enhanced Development Program has been introduced to help contestants with valuable life building skills as well as pageantry advice through email, webinars, you tube and teleconferences. A week before the crowning, contestants from all over Canada will be able to rehearse and get personal attention in all key areas.
