Variety - The Children’s Charity is a non-profit charitable organization that changes the lives of children with special needs all over the world. Variety has grown to 43 organizations around the globe and has raised over $1.5 billion over the past 80 years. Variety – The Children's Charity of BC was established in 1965 and has raised over $155 million, raising funds and distributing grants throughout British Columbia to inspire hope, enrich lives and build a better future for children who have special needs.

Variety disburses much-needed funding to children and their families through individual grants and the Emergency Response Fund. Every year, Variety disburses over 1,300 grants for medical emergencies, therapies, specialized equipment, drug prescriptions, and out-of-town accommodation and travel costs. Variety also provides grants to children’s organizations for construction, renovations, equipment, and program costs.

With more than 200 fundraisers and special events happening every year, Variety works closely with community-based fundraising groups and over 4,000 dedicated volunteers in communities around the province.
